Where to find chansey in heart gold

Okay, sorry for the triple post but I just caught another one just because I was like, gotta waste these 2 safari balls then it'll send me out - caught one without throwing a mud!

User Info: irrimn. Nonetheless I'm currently trying to capture a Chansey with your technique, the bastards just won't stay in my safari balls :D The method is, the pokemon that are acquired via a certain number of blocks are all of higher level, since you can't access them until late in the game.

A repel and stronger versions all take your main pokemon's level and basically block out all pokemon of lower level give or take a few levels. So having one that is Chansey's level which is 42 means that it wont block Chansey, but will block all lower level pokemon.

Really you can apply this method to obtain most of the safari zone's rarer pokemon. For example, if you placed 10 water blocks, and used a repel with a level 36 pokemon as your main, and then went surfing at the rocky beach area, all you would run into is Lapras. It's simple really, as long as you understand the basic mechanics behind the game. More topics from this board How is this still one of the most active boards? Is this over leveling nuzlocke? After national pokedex you have to tune into Mary and Oak radio show to see if they say chansey, and if you dont want to wait and its not chansey you would have to adjust the time on your DS to and in your game when the clock hits the tune into the show again and if its still not chansey you have to save it.

Then again adjust the time to and wait till tune in and keep doing that untill they say chansey and dont worry they will tell you where it is and remeber to take a pokemon with cut the the location.
